As an adult, I have spent many a conversation opener with this line, "Do you remember the show Big Blue Marble?" Do you know how many people I've met that remember this show? Zero! Therefore, it is so refreshing to know that I'm not crazy and this show was the best thing going on saturday morning tv! I remember running to the tv at 6am, before my other five siblings woke up, to grab the tv and watch this show. I loved learning about people from all over the world and being amazed at how they lived. I still remember the boy from Trinidad that collectd scrap tin to make art-work. If only my Mom would have let me have a pen-pal! Bummer! What a great show!
