Judge Dredd Land Rover
This incredible vehicle was built for the JBL exhibit at the 2003 Consumer Electronics Show In Las Vegas Nevada. Dredd was used in the movie Judge Dredd starring Sylvester Stallone several years ago. The chassis and drive train are from an original 30 year old Land Rover Defender military vehicle.
This vehicle received the 2003 Best Show Vehicle at CES award and can be seen and heard at several events this summer. This incredible creation was accomplished by JBL's good friend at Stan's Car Stereo in Lubbock Texas. Hats off to their entire staff for a completely over the top execution. So what is that big thing in the middle of the cargo area, it is non other than the JBL A6000GTi amplifier driving eight W12GTi subwoofers. There are also eight sets of C608GTi components, a number of P180.2 and P80.4 power amps, a Harman Kardon TrafficPro and a host of cameras and monitors. In fact this vehicle is driven using a joystick and monitors. Using over a dozen cameras, the vehicle is driven without the pilot having direct view of his or her surroundings. No, Dredd is not street legal but is driven from its carrier to location.
